You mean there's a time when that road IS in good shape?!? I drove back there with a friend two years ago and it was like an E-ticket ride at Disneyland. It was definitely worth the trip though, because the beach was fantastic. Haven't heard any reports that the road's surface (such as it was) has been altered.
