I know some BC folks who winter in La Manz. have left by car for Mexico already. Let me just tell you what the weather has been like here on Vancouver Island and will continue for the next week. Todays high will be 29C which is about 85F. We are breaking all records. Most forrest fires are now out but we need rain badly. We see some smoke over in the Olympic mountains in the USA which have not been contained yet. Usually we are sitting beside the fire at this time of year.
