Rosa looks pretty threatening on the satellite but NHC is still predicting that she'll fall apart within the next day or so, before she gets this far north. The Mexican site predicts rain for this area of the coast tomorrow which seems like a reasonable assumption. Late season storms sometimes do weird things, like wandering around a lot before they dissipate - computer models for Rosa have been showing that kind of motion for the past two days (one of the computer models shows the storm coming onshore just south of us - that would be interesting). Even if she turns into a sloppy tropical depression, Rosa could do a little damage and dump a lot of rain before she moves away. |
