If anybody wants up to the minute earthquake info try the web sight http://earthquake.usgs.gov/ It gives earthquake info around the world within minutes of one happening as long as they are stronger than 2.5. It shows that there were actually 3 quakes this size along the coast of Central and South America all within hours of each other. You can also report and read reports of people who felt the quakes. It's a really interesting site for anyone interested in Earthquake Tectonics. It reported this one as a 5.7(that's substantially stronger than 5.2) and 77miles deep. What site are you using Deanna? |
