I agree. I think the first thing to be stopped is the building of permanent homes on the beach. How the hell do they get away with it? I thought there was a law against that??.. The maximum building size should not exceed more than 15 percent of the largest Mexican house owned 15 years ago. Just keeping with the status quo of the past. For example, Aspen Colorado has limited the size of homes to no more 1700 square feet. If the gringo owners insist on building a trophy home, exorbitant taxes should be placed on any additional square footage that exceeds the allowance. Why are big homes needed when most of them are only used 4-5 months a year?? Helga, I remember the parrots across the arroyo, and wild chickens,pigs, etc. They have kindly made way for the swiss cheese house. The size of the homes are a sign of gringo arrogance. Oh yeah, if I hear " I didn't mean for my house to be sooo big" again, I'm gonna puke. |
