A suggestion is to plan micro dams above in the mountains and have a number of reservoirs for to sustain the town when the water is low in the summer another suggestion I had an engineer calculate how much rain I could save off just my roof and at 22 inches per year it was 40,000 gallons yes, gallons not liters I suggest that all new homes be required to have rain containment set ups and current home owners consider retrofitting their places to do the same they do it all over the world, especially on the big island of Hawaii |
