HI everyone, back in Canada and brrr....still cold, and lots of rain. But read with great interest all the info about the red tides. Thanks everyone for this. The red tide in La Manz was happening just as I was leaving and I too saw many different kinds of dead fish that I had not seen before. Just finished reading James Lovelock's new book called "The Revenge of Gaia" and for anyone who still thinks that all the climate change is not being accelerated by us humans, I suggest you read this book and be sobered. Also just watched "Who Killed the Electric Car" which is another mind blowing dvd. I was happier there in La Manz with no news and noone talking about all this, but as Daniel so eloquently stated.....time to wake up folks!! Miss you all, and our wonderful pueblo...I hope it warms up here soon - we are having a very wet spring, and cold too. Linda ps. Oh yeah, a good share of our big glaciers in the Rocky Mountains are now either gone, or seriously disappearing - now why do you suppose that is happening???That is/was the water supply for the prairies. It is a sobering thought. |
