This morning around 11:30am, as we sat looking out on the Pacific Ocean, a single Roseate Spoonbill came flying from the North headed South then rounded the mountain and disappeared towards Tamarindo. What a beautiful sight, but surprising. We have seen large groups of them over in El Tecuen, but never in the Bay. It was so colorful we thought at first it was a kite blowing in the wind. Keep a look out for more. It's a wonderful sight. |
