The last update from the NHC shows Henriette moving slowly away from the Mexican coast. It is currently still slightly south of us but almost on the same latitude as L.M. As it passes by today, we may experience tropical storm force winds and a lot rain, depending on how far and how fast it moves away from us. The Mexican govt. still has storm warnings up for the area from Manzanillo to P.V. The next NHC update will be at 1 PM and should tell us more about what impact Henriette will have on La Manz. Rainfall yesterday was only .41 inches - Boca reported 1.7 during the previous 24 hr. period. Total rainfall for August was 8.99 inches. Stay dry! |
