The rain has subsided in Melaque and villa Obregon. People are going about the task of cleaning up after Henrietta with the backgound of shining sun and roaring ocean. Lots of people are still sheltered in schools until the water level in their houses goes down and they can go back , but the rain has finally subsided. I haven`t been downtown today so I don`t know how the highways and other streets are but I imagen there is a lot of mud around. Judy and Peter from Boca I hope you are o.k. if you have a chance or if you know let me know if my house in boca is O.K. It should be o.k. I had the ground level brought up quite a bit before building. I will be there in a couple of days. One thing that people from Melaque and the surrounding areas are learning is to be prepared for storms at this time of the year. Many people found themselves without drinking water and canned food or regular food items. Have a nice day! |
