Nancy and I came back from Guad yesterday pm. We were on the road from Manzanillo to LM about 5 yesterday afternoon. The road was clear except for some minor sand and small rocks around Naranjo and a one lane sand slide near El Centro, all of which will be taken care of by now. There was a handful of one lane closed slides in the hills between here and Melaque but they must be clear by now, the water trucks came through this AM. The big problem was in Melaque which was all under water on the ocean side of the highway. The bridge had water running over the top at both ends but they were allowing traffic across, single file, one direction at a time. The river was at the same level as the road but we could and did get through.
We are going to Manzanillo tomorrow, Tuesday, so would appreciate any problem road updates. It all looks good at least through Friday.
