Deanna... I would hope that the sewage pipes and water pipes have not been layed in the same trench. It is possable that sewage could contaminate the water lines under some conditions. Leaks in both sewer and water lines with negative pressure in water line. Not having seen how the trenches were dug, the soil they are layed in and how they were backfilled(compaction), it may be possable that the "new sewer" trenches could be acting like drains for the surounding soil and the water could be flowing in the trenches which lead down hill. As the trenches fill and the ground is saturated the water may be cumming to the surface... just a thought! Thanks for the info on Oct. conditions. The wife and I have a vacation in Oct. and would love to visit LM, but I guess it would be better to visit when conditions and better. I know it would be a guess on your part, but what month would be the soonest that a person can come to LM and not get TOO wet and enjoy some sun? Thanks |
