Hi, It's not just windows you need to find and to load but the drivers for the hardware which are manufacture and model specific. Actually you can Google the model number or serial number of your machine and find the drivers most of the time. I have both 2000 and XP home and PRO, it depends on the age of your computer as to which would work best but definately not Windows ME. Win 2000 does not use windows advantage (dis advantage in reality) so you can install it without verification of purchase as is required by XP. Other problem I have is an attitude problem. Computer repair ceased to amuse me years ago. If you want to borrow the 2000 install disk let me know and I'll burn a copy for you. Finding the drivers is up to you.
