There is a potential for air travel problems associated with different Daylight Savings schedules of US and MX. We flew back to the states late last Mar. during the period when the Daylight Saving period differed between the US and MX. The Airline had not made the proper adjustments to their schedules. Their schedule (our itinerary) showed us with a two hr. layover in Houston to clear customs and change planes. The actual layover turned out to be one hr. - we made it but are still out of breath. Flying from the US in a few days again has us in the period of time where Daylight Savings Times will differ. This will not cause a problem with the time of US flights. But the arrival time at ZLO could be off by an hr. if the airline did not make the proper adjustment. We will check with the Airline tomorrow. Anyone picking someone up at an airport during the next week may want to double check the arrival time at the MX airport. |
