D and others, |
I have spent the weekend forwarding my spam to "spamcop" as guided in Daniel's link. And preliminarily, I believe they are VERY good at stopping spam.
Typically, I get ±20 offers a day for fake watches, viagra and stock tips. Since I have started with Spamcop, that has dropped to just one spam today. (Perhaps the spammers take U.S. Veterans' Day off???)
Anyway, the service is free, and seems to work well, though it is kind of a pain to submit to them (three step process). I encourage anyone with spam problems to check it out.
