Hi Jean, Thank you for that link - it looks interesting, but is not quite the same - it is like a tent with a floor... the one at this site http://www.instantmosquito.net/imncuk/contact.htm is free standing, and would fit over the bed, kind of like one of those little folding umbrellas that you put over food to protect it from flies (only in this case the food is you! or me...) wish I could copy and paste the picture like someone did about the bus ticket place - Daniel, how do you do that? Well, I havent had any other responses, so tomorrow I will order 2 of these nets, from the UK, hope they get here before I leave, and if they don't, I will litter this board with pleas for a traveller from Vancouver to bring them down for me... My house has a palapa, and any guest staying upstairs will appreciate the net,I am sure,(as rumour has it that scorpions dwell in the palapas) and also the fact that the (easily folded down) net will be out of the way during the day, when there are no mosquitoes. If this net proves to be as good as I think it is, I promise to share the information with all of you; brilliant design is almost as good as great art! |
