Hi George, Your words are in bold. Hey, What about the "data"(random pieces of disorganized but measurable information)When science is applied it becomes fact. Fact: the earth is warming I think most are aware of that fact. Have anything to add, a solution or something? Fact: Mexico’s pacific coast is fragile I am pretty sure that most realize that coast all over the world are fragile. And that people are ready to assist those who live in such areas with information and assistance to help protect those areas more so than they are being protected now. Your point in bringing this up is? Fact: you are in a drought Not true, we just had one of the wettest seasons in 20 years. Fact: your wells are becoming saline True, we are looking for solutions, do you have any? Fact: the bay of Tenacatita and the surrounding mangroves are in peril because of unbridled human encroachment. True, and your solution is? Fact: any time their is conflict, be it between you and me, us and Iraq, or simply man against nature, it's always the ego. you know "I,me,me mine," Partly true, man is an asshole by nature. And your solution is? I just wanted to "share with the community" in hopes of getting some of that "wisdom" you spoon feed to your minions in order to protect your bottom line. OK, you shared with the community. We just finished up a year long thread on this topic titled "Making Sense of the Local News", perhaps you thought it was important to bring it up yet again (this time in a puzzle of a ignorant rant on not only the people of La Manzanilla but the people who lost their homes in the Malibu fire as well) but with no solutions. Would it make you happy if I make a permanent web page for you so your brilliant observations (without answers) can be just a click away for those times we do forget? Protecting the bottom line George, is that really what you think I am doing? Get real. There are sellers (people who want to sell) and there are buyers (people who want to buy) and I try to put them together. Each of those people are quite aware of the conditions of the planet, La Manzanilla and mankind. But if it will make you happy your new permanent web page which will be linked to from the home page of my real estate website just to make sure that we have full disclosure. There are lots of other places in the world which have similar situations, why don't you go bother them for a while? At least until your ready to do something more on this board than point out situations and say "don't you people feel guilty"? By the way, I have lived in La Manz for an extended period of time. I visit my friends there several times a year. I was given some property in La Manz, but promptly returned it, not wanting to be part of the slow decay that is ravishing what once was a beautiful little sleepy fishing village. So let me get this clear, you spend more time here than most people, in finer homes that most of the people but your not part of the problem because you don't have a Constancia on some property? So it's that little piece of paper that is the problem! Now I get it, if we can just save the paper that is being used up by that process of selling and buying then there are no more problems! Brilliant! Seems to me if you really have the concerns you speak about you will either get involved in finding a solution or just stop contributing to the problem and not return (as if you won't use resources wherever you go). Adios for now, Daniel |
