Count and identify birds and learn their songs Learn what the different trees and foilage are Buy a pencil and try to draw something Make a net out of a hanger, stick and mosquito netting (A good hands on project)...stick it in the ocean and see what's really in there. Learn to identify some of the constellations (download a map of them from the internet) Learn how to make guacamole, salsa, a tortilla! Learn and practice 3 new words a day in Spanish Go and watch the impressive futbol on Saturdays and Sundays at the campo. It's a good walk down there, a nice way to meet the neighbors and tons of kids to play with. Make sand sculptures Get a fishing .,(what do you call those anyway?) donut shaped roll for your line and see what comes up. Boogie board/Body surf Keep a daily diary with pictures Read a book Make a mobile from beach sticks, fishing line and shells Have fun |
