Hi all, |
Am posting an invite to bid on two FOUR NIGHT STAYS at Boca de Iguanas to benefit the PATA Manzanillo charity, which is a spin-off non-profit dedicated to reducing the overpopulation of street animals inspired by Julie Wagner's Cisco's Amigos.
Julie kindly has mentored me throughout the years and we are finally getting the much raved about RAVS teaching clinic this Feb to help get our vets up to speed BUT we are desperately seeking community support (yes, La Manzanilla is our community too!) to help fund this and other important clinics.
The 3rd Annual PATA Manzanillo (Personas Ayudando a Todo los Animales or "people helping all animals") SILENT AUCTION BLOCK is live and open for bidding online at www.PATAManzanillo.com ..... And it caps off with a Valentine's cocktail event at Sunset Lounge on Thurs. Feb. 14 from 6:30-9:30 pm.
All proceeds go towards purchasing medicines and supplies for our 3rd annual free spaying and neutering clinic March 12-16 to reduce the overpopulation of street animals by providing sterilization operations to pets of low income families. In the last two years, PATA Manzanillo has helped bring these FREE spay and neuter surgeries to nearly 500 needy dogs and cats.... all thanks to the generous support of the community.
SILENT AUCTION items include grand prize hotel packages, local area tours, restaurant dinners, language classes and even a U.S. mailbox six-month rental. There are even two 4-night hotel stays up for grabs at the area's newest eco-development, the Boca de Iguanas Beach Hotel in the Costalegre!!
Go to "Auction items" for a complete run down of the generous donations from the Manzanillo business community in support of our event. To register a bid online, fill out the following form:
