Sewer Meeting

Is it a sewer....or is it flim flam???
The little published sewer meeting was held 22 Dec. at the Ejidal office.
Attending were approximatley 15 people:a few concerned gringos; a group of what seemed to be hand picked, very pro sewer, and a pair of Mexicans,the moderator and the translator/sewer executive.
No experts or even slightly knowledgeable people were there, and thusly no one could explain shit about the existing condition of the system, or the realities of how it is supposed to work.
What was decided, however,was EVERYONE in town will HAVE to pay 1500pesos to get the project up and re-running,moving,going again, or something....no specifics?
A few of the gringos ponnied up their money right there on the spot,receiving a nice official looking receipt for their efforts.
