Many of you know of Tonala already. You have been to the tiangis there and seen the goods for sale which ranges from pretty poor quality to some interesting and well made things. But did you know that there are 5 people there who are considered Great Masters of Mexican Folk Art? I will be leading a 8-day pottery-based cultural tour in the Guadalajara/Tonala area from March 8=15. We will stay in a lovely B&B in Tlaquepaque. We will make a trip to Sayula to visit another Great Master, Jose Ojeda, a 13th generation knife maker.
