Last Saturday several children made paper sculptures in my back yard studio. Judy and Ana and I supervised, but, really, the kids didn't need much direction - they are so creative. You can see the process and results in 7 photos I have posted on my blog at

We will meet again this Saturday, and Judy will teach a lesson in painting faces (portraits). Marcos from La Huerta will also be there, to help kids make art from recyclables...all kids are welcome, and there is no charge, though I know Marcos would accept a donation - he takes the bus from La Huerta for the day.
So if you know of kids who would like to participate, send or bring them over at 11:00 - it's one block back from the Galeria, going towards the hill (corner of Perula and Manglares)
Also, if anyone has interesting, small recyclables or art supplies, equipment, etc.to donate, please email me, and I can arrange to have them picked up. Thanks!
