Thank you to all the generous individuals and businesses who donated for our online auction and helped make it such a success! Please join us for a fun-filled night in La Manzanilla’s main plaza (jardin) for our 4th annual “A Night under the Stars” Auction & Party. This is the second phase of our auction fundraiser, where we will have live entertainment and lots more great items including some of the following: Gift Certificates: 1 night stay at Tamarindo for 2 with meals included Golf at Tamarindo 2 nights and 3 days at Blue Bay Resort for 2 (all-inclusive!) Quetzal Restaurant – Dinner for 2 Eileen’s –Carryout dinner for 4 Palapa Joe’s – Dinner for 2 Dinner for 6 at Marcia’s house Dinners at Martin’s 2 teeth cleaning with new dentist in La Manzanilla Sample Items: Paintings by various local artists Handmade jewelry New women’s clothing Tools, appliances, sports equipment, and more! The event line up will be as follows: 6pm – Event Begins, Food & Drinks Served 6:30 – 9pm – Entertainment, Live Auction & Silent Auction Tickets for adults cost 50 pesos, which include a plate of tasty Mexican food, one free drink and a bidding number to participate in the auctions. Kids coming with their families enter free! Special highlights include Mexican folkloric dancing and a piñata breaking for the kids. Ways You Can Help: • DONATE AN ITEM. We are still accepting new or used items. Contact us at 351-5362 or please bring any donations to the plaza tomorrow before 6pm. • VOLUNTEER AT THE EVENT. We need volunteers to help set up between 3pm & 6pm tomorrow, as well as working shifts at the event between the hours of 6pm and 9pm. • ATTEND THE EVENT, BRING YOUR FRIENDS, & BID, BID, BID! ¡Gracias y hasta mañana!
