Sewer Meeting

I am sure you all heard the LMIS ( La Manzanilla Information System or more commonly known as a truck containing a driver with a microphone and loudspeakers) yesterday, around 5 pm, requesting all to attend a meeting at 7 pm sharp in the Ejido Meeting Room regarding the Sewer. I heard it but did not understand much of what was said, except be there at 7pm sharp, because as you all know, my Spanish is very poor. Oswaldo called the meeting and about 30 Mexican property owners attended, not one non-Mexican. The decisions made by all in attendance were the following: *To go forward with the connections. *To pay the 1500 pesos for the connections with a 2nd payment of the same or less to be paid after the system is working. *To have the Sewer Committee begin the collection of these funds February 26 at 6pm. Those collecting will be the Sewer Committee and Gustavo. The monies will be held in a separate account at Banamex and you will be given receipts. *To have the next meeting on March 4th at 7pm at the Ejido. Once the sewers are working, the new cobblestone streets will be started. Please attend the next meeting on March 4th at 7pm at the Ejido. We need to clean our Pueblo and fix the roads. I know this information is sparse but it is all that I have.
