Play with Clay and Raku Workshop in Villa Obregon

There is still room for two more students to participate in this exciting workshop learning how to hand build objects with raku clay. The workshop runs March 3rd, 4th and 6th. Our projects will include making a lidded box, a vase or vase like form and a mask. After our initial bisque fire we'll then head over to the raku kiln and play with a huge palette of my handmade glazes and brilliant commercial glazes. Our focus will be on texture. There are tons of ways to create texture. Working with embellishing our surfaces both with clay additions and some very special textural raku glazes I have developed are just a couple.
