children's art class

Tomorrow (Saturday), at 11:00 sharp, Katherine will be teaching beaded jewelry making to any children who would like to learn - in my back yard studio, at the corner of Perula and Manglares (one block further up Perula from the Galeria) She is providing the mnaterials, and the class is free - though if someone has materials (like beads, etc.) to donate, please bring them over. Marco will also be here, doing recyclable sculptures with the children as well. So if you know of any children who would like this opportunity, please bring them over. The class is free. Tell them to be on clock time, as it is difficult when they miss out on the teaching phase... Marco also has some of his sculptures for sale at these sessions, and accepts donations. He travels by bus from La Huerta to do these classes. This will be the last of the art classes in my studio, as I will be leaving on Mar. 10. So I will also ask the children to help organize the paints, markers, recyclables, etc. and store them away till next season.
