Another one done and what a great clinic it was!! Catherine's help in organizing the volunteers was perfect.With the help of Tia and Toby (new owners of Milora's) we were able to bring in dogs from Tenacatita. Christina, from Melaque,helped bring in more from an area I call "Chiapas". A few came in from the old hotel, Los Ingenious and La Rosa. In all we did 141 animals. Last year the number was 96. I guess we have to admit we are doing well in "outreach". We gave 80 Rabies vaccines and ever more Distemper. The Salud wasn't open to get more rabies vaccines, but they will have more on the 24th of March. Dr. Beto from Melaque helped out on Saturday and Dra. Rocio -our new Vet in towm -helped Saturday and Sunday.I give her 4 stars and hope everyone gives her the support she deserves. If you have problems with feral cats in your neighborhood please give me a call(315 5164). Our traps are available and Dra. Rocio is willing to spay and neuter them with Cisco's paying the cost of Meds. No other town on the coast has this opportunity of decreasing the amount of ferals that are decimating the wildlife. A great thanks to all that helped. You know who you are and I think you got an idea of how good it feels to help the families and their pets. We hope to see you next time . I can not thank Marcia enough for her help in surgery, but also for hosting Yolanda and Ester in her home the entire time. Yolanda and Ester are very special women. Without their dedication and passion to help the dogs and cats of Mexico none of this would be possible. We thank them from our hearts and want them back for our clinics in the future. I feel confident that they have become passionate for the animals of La Manzanilla's and they will be back. Thank you La Manzanilla. Your incredible monetary support is what really makes it work.
