DOG/S_GONE_ON_VACATION?

AS I sit on my playa/balcony for 3 months as in the past years I've noticed something common about vacation dog/s... Wondering why people on vacation take their dog/s with them ?
So I ask a few locals the same question/s. The answers was broke-down....this way.
The the first and foremost answers were;
1.)Dog/s were family members.Can't leave them at home!
2.)They couldn't find anyone to watch them at home.
3.)They weren't going to pay what it cost for a kennel to keep them in.
4.)They felt safer in Mexico with a dog/s.

Do you vacation dog people agree with these finding?
Was just wondering why Dog/s go on vacation?
