According to a semi knowledgable source :
Unlike other places in Mexico that have a true rainy season where it rains often most afternoons- tropical rains-, LaManzanilla has more of a hurricane seasons where althogh they occasionally get afternoon rains, mostly the real water comes from passing storms.
