mosaic worshop this Saturday

We have been having art sessions for children in my backyard studio on Saturdays...last week we experimented with mosaics (mostly small pieces of tile fixed with cement on a backing - ie, an unglazed clay tile, a clay pot, etc.) When it was dry, we filled the design with grout, and then polished it smooth - thanks to Mazinka, a mosaico experto who came along just in time to help us finish them off. This Saturday at 11:00, we are going to do mosaics again. Adults are also welcome to come - just bring a clay pot, saucer, unglazed tile, or anything that the cement would stick to. I have quite a few neutral colored tile pieces that you are welcome to use. Here´s what we needsome of you will have this left over from flooring projects, etc.) -some more colorful broken tiles, shells, jewelry pieces -some of the special pegamento for attaching the tiles to the background -different colored grout -and, to borrow, a hammer, some spatulas, some rags or sponges.¨ Call me if you have questions, or something to contribute.. my cel is 044 315 107 5198.
