Thanks all. I found the dog owner of the one that I think is instigating the attacks and hopefully his grandson, who is a friend of mine, won't be too frightened to pass the message on to his grandfather, who is pretty fierce -- and being a palapa owner whose customers are often bothered by beach dogs -- may have a different perspective than I do. As an aside, there is an adorable puppy that someone dropped off at the beach here (looks like some sort of blond medium size dog mix) that was hanging out under the palapa tables yesterday -- if anyone is looking for a sweet dog) -- and who hopefully will not be breakfast this morning for the other beach dogs.
