Wheatgrass

Hi there, Does anyone know if I can buy wheatgrass or wheatgrass seeds in / around La Manzanilla? Or if immigration will allow me to bring some with me when I fly back from the States? I don't know much about wheatgrass in terms of whether it is something that is commonly grown in Mexico or not. Living in NY for the last 6 years, it appears at my juicebar and the seeds are at the local raw food store. Feel free to poke fun at me now. I am originally from the midwest, but clearly I've lost my agricultural roots. ;-) Any help would be great. From Wikipedia: Wheatgrass refers to the young grass of the common wheat plant, Triticum aestivum, that is freshly juiced or dried into powder for animal and human consumption. Thanks! Christina |
