Hi Christina and Dobie Are the wheatberries able to sprout and grow enough to be juiced - even in the heat and humidity of Mexico? If so, then it would be worth while importing the seeds, as you are not planning to start farming wheat, right? (just trick them long enough to get them sprouted) I took a juicer to Mexico - a good quality one, I thought, but a plastic part from it disintegrated, so now it is useless. I have noticed that many plastic objects disintegrate there, and was told that the salt in the air weakens plastic... anyway, if someone is considering buying a juicer, it might be best to get an all stainless steel one. I wanted to add something about growing organic vegetables, but will start a new thread on that one later - it has to do with vergolaga (feel free to correct my spelling) ... and, Christina, be sure and tell us all about the high points of your art show - in NYC!! |
