Elida is still heading away from the coast, almost due west now, and shouldn't pose a threat to L.M. We are, however, in an area of very unstable air and will almost certainly get more rain during the next few days. Yesterday we received .66" of rain as the result a very tasteful little thunderstorm - not terribly loud or scary - but accompanied by some very impressive lightning bolts. July's rainfall is now up to 10.25 inches. There's another system south of Guatemala that may head this way in the next week or so. Summer is definitely here! |
