Reason for response

My reason for responding to the e-mails on road subject was only to offer help. Sorry if some feel that somehow make me seem to infer expertise. I am concerned about the the serious damage and flooding that will effect all of the downtown. That disproportionately effects the local/Mexican families and any homes in the low lying area. I now inexpensive natural solutions and how a slow progress of adjustments can hlp aleviate this problem over time.

As Ross mentioned the pace of Mexico is its own and we can not push it any faster than their pace. But we can work with them when the time is right.

What I was hoping for is to be ready with some well thought out options to help guide the response after the next flood and when the Mexican Government is ready to react after the next flood.

It is very clear from the size of the watershed above town that the right hurricane that gets a good dump of rain in the mountains can cause massive flooding that far exceed the small floods seen in the last 20 to 30 years and many casualties. As climatologists are all saying wild changes to weather patterns are to be expected.
