Hi Carol - The berries sprout easily from Nov.- May. They need to grow about 7" tall for wheat grass juice and you need to have a special juicer (mine's a cast metal hand crank)- a regular juicer won't work.I used to grow wheat grass when I was camping on the beach - the amazing thing is that nothing ate it -not birds, racoons, mice, etc. I plant one tray every day as you can only cut the grass once (to get all the vitamins and goodies). |
