Still wish I'd bought that rock, but in lieu of the rock, here's what I know this morning. Yesterday produced .60 in. of rain, but since 11:30 last night our gauge has registered 2.44 inches and the rain goes on. Wet, wet, wet, low gray skies and a muddy ocean where the arroyo has opened up slightly - no high waves and just a little thunder and lightning last night. TD 5-E started to fall apart yesterday afternoon and ended up coming shore somewhere around Lazaro Cardenas during the night. The remnants, which we're experiencing now, should dissipate within a day or so but may continue to dump rain on the coast and inland to the south of us for awhile. The temperature is a cool 77F/25C so I can't complain about that. Time to find a good book and make some more coffee. Boca - are you still there?? |
