I signed up in Mexico, chose a US area, and it cost me 1cent a minute for US calls. No upfront or monthly - just start out with $10 on your credit card.

800 numbers are free, Mexico is 2cents a minute.

My visitors use it more than I do - per my instructions !!!

I do suggest a headset so you don`t get/give feedback from external speakers
