Hi Deanna, I think that the local authorties open it when it gets to a certain level. While it may see a bit bothersome here in town there are farms that go underwater when the lagoon gets too full. The yellow tape is from before they opened it to warn people about the Croc's. I seem to have misjudged when the water will clear back to normal, it's still 50 50 mix, probably due to a type of tide which is keeping it close to shore, at least down here by the office. There is a lot of water in that Lagoon! D |
