| My friend Tom just returned to San Antonio from Autlan via Guanajuato and said that all liter prices have been raised about a peso and the cuota prices are increasing on the cuotas going to the border. Inflation hits below the border. Tom likes to talk to everyone so his information from Pemex station managers is that Pemex hopes to hold the price on diesel down while raising all the other prices to match the US prices on gasoline and hopefully cut fuel consumption. They have been pricing gasoline on oil at $50 a barrel and now it is costing Pemex twice that. |
