I heard that for BEE stings, onemust take a credit card, or something not too sharp, and scrape the stinger out of the skin because the insect leaves part of itself that has a tiny muscle pumping venom into the skin for several seconds after the sting. One can avoid some of the venom this way. Tape works on warts because they are a virus that needs air (oxygen, I guess) to keep growing. You suffocate them be keeping tape on them. Copper penny? Geez - never heard that one, I'd make sure it's not going to give the skin an infection. Who knows where it's been? |
