Rainfall/Lowell update

T.S. Lowell is passing through Latitude 19 this morning but still moving to the west. The latest computer models show the storm taking a turn to the north in a day or so which may mean trouble (again) for Baja but it should be far enough north by then that it won't affect L.M. Yesterday produced only .07 in. of rain here but 2.46 inches fell overnight - a steady rain that really soaked everything. The roads look pretty good but the ocean is an ugly brown from all the mud washing down the arroyo and into the sea. I see that Boca (Peter and Judy) reported 3.63 inches during the night - I wish someone would explain why Boca gets consistently more rain than L.M.when its just across the bay from us. Muy mysterioso.

The temp is a lovely, cool 78F/25.6C this morning
with small patches of blue sky peeking through the clouds. Nothing else exciting on the horizon at this
point but anything can happen in September (weather-wise) so stay tuned!
