Outrage? It's fun, but pointless...we need strategies. I will be bringing innocent tubes of oil paint, acrylics, etc., and will follow the advice at this link

It was written in regard to carry-on luggage, but if you print out the Material Safety Data Sheet, MSDS as it is called in this article, and pack it in with the materials, it might help.

Also, ask friends who are driving down to bring that kind of product for you - better to pay the duty and something for fuel than to have your precious paints go into...who knows where??
