I did see that lightning over Tanacatita - very
impressive but, as you said, no thunder. Strange.
As it started to get light, it was obvious there was a lot of action offshore which started to move toward us - then kaboom! (meterological description denoting a kick-ass thunderstorm). Interesting weather today.
