Whoops - that should have been 15-E (15th storm of the season). Another interesting item - I was looking through the Unisys site to see if I could find another October storm that had came really close to L.M. - and found Tropical Storm Maggie on October 10th and 11th, 1966 which came ashore at 19.2N/ 104.9W - L.M.'s approx. coordinates are 19.1/104.4. The winds were 45 mph, which aren't terribly high, but could (and probably did) do some damage. Are there any long-timers out there who remember that one??
