Calma, calma Dave! Go to Weather Underground and look at their new storm track for Odile - it shows a sharp turn to the west at about Latitude 15 and doesn't predict strengthening beyond tropical storm status. I'll keep watching it though, and will check again in the morning to see if anything has changed. As for rainfall, there aren't any records that I know of for La Manzanilla - you can find averages for Manzanillo, Cihuatlan, P.V., etc. but not for this area and our weather patterns are very different from theirs. This is the rainiest year we've seen since we started keeping records in 2004. So far this year we've had 39.02 inches. I'll post some averages for the surrounding areas after the season is over. Right now, I'm off to bed. By the way, the waves sound a lot bigger tonight - Daniel?? |
