Twisting the wires together and wrapping with electrical tape is the standard for Mexico. Wire nuts are not common and not usually available. Only recently has anyone been paying any attention to ground wires and that may be because of the demand for them by foreigners. Our codes from the north do not apply in Mexico. As far as the water pipe is concerned it should be at least copper, wrapped in plastic and buried. There are other types of waterline available as well. |
