La Manzanilla's glorious winter weather is finally here. The temperature this morning at 6:30 AM was 68F/20C with 57% humidity (please post lower temps if you had them - Boca and Arroyo people). The sun is hot during the day but the air is much cooler and mornings and evenings are fabulous. October was one of the warmest I've experienced in 9 years here and November wasn't much different. November's highest temp was 87.6F/31C - lowest was 73.6F/22C. Humidity hovered in the mid 70% range most of the month which made it very uncomfortable, even at night. Total rainfall for the year now stands at 41.56 inches - which compares with 37.42" in 2006 and 32.11" in 2007. Unless some weird winter storm blows in, that number should stand. Hawaiians say "lucky we live Hawaii" - I say "lucky we live La Manzanilla"! |
