Does that allergy have something to do with the ethnic group? Here in Mexico i have never heard about that. Here, in most children parties and christasmas "posadas" they give candies, sugar cane, peanuts, fruits, etc. And nobody tells anything about it, nobody gets any allergy.

If somebody knows about this, please post it.
