Regarding allergies: My son, Lyle, is in the Kinder and I brought the lunch last week, which was peanut butter and jelly and an apple wedge. I asked the teacher about allergies and she had no idea what I was talking about, had never heard of a child with an allergy to peanuts. I've read that in the US we roast them instead of boiling them and the roasting process might be causing the increase in allergic reactions.

Yes, it's too late to teach parents about the dangers of cola and sugary foods. Thank you Paul for the posting, I pick up an extra can of peanut butter next time I'm shopping.
